    A staple meat product during WWII for our soldiers is made in my Secret Santa's state.

    I got my name and chose with care the things in their box as I put each in there. I'm not gonna tell who the recipient be.... Because Santa is watching me.

    I got my SS name. She lives in a state that has many LQS. Lol hee hee. I went shopping already for her/him. I just need to find some more munchies and wrap the gifts and sign the card. Next week project. We both like chocolate and quilting. I will hold off mailing until others begin to mail their packages.

    Sorry to hijack the thread a bit, but how on earth do you cut the saltiness? It is so salty I can’t eat it. I have the same problem with ham. Too much salt!

    Got my name too. My SS recipient has an O in her state name. And lives West of me. I am with crafttjulz and her coffee of choice. Hey maybe my person would enjoy a coffee visit😀

    LOL I guess we are saltholics. I do also fry a sweet onion, put in black beans, lots of eggs and some cheese. Then it all goes into a very large flour tortilla. I do not salt any of the other items and cut and fry the Spam into tiny cubes before adding. It is kind of like bacon.
