I want to let the person who sent secret santa to me to know that I have received their packae. I haven't opened my secret santa package yet as the person I sent to hasn't received theirs yet.

First year this is taking so long....ha ha ha can t wait for my SS to get her prezzy...dang....next year I will soo send in advance....still waiting on mine too....we will be a small group to open ours later....hopefully for Christmas!!!! Glad every one had fun opening theirs...Merry Christmas !!!!

I’m saddened by how many have not yet received their packages and those who are still waiting for word their gift package was received. I think the greatest joy of this exchange is hearing from your ‘person’ that they’ve received your goodies and love them! I hope everyone receives what they’re waiting for before Christmas!

This is my first time doing Secret Santa... and i am very thankful that there were no problems with my packages sent to or from my Secret Santa persons.

Are the missing packages unusual, or is this a common occurrence in some locations? Hoping all the packages show up at their destinations soon - C’mon Rudolph!

AprilM I think it is unusual. Its usually only customs holding up international parcels, but it seems to be a national problem this year. I know australia post have been commenting on the increased load of parcels its handling.

M-fay thank you for trying to help me understand the missing packages dilemma.

It doesnt sound like anybody is really able to get a handle on the problem. How discouraging - especially at Christmas. I guess the Grinch is alive and well and cant stand us girls just wanting to have a little fun.

Especially as a first-timer, i would have felt awful had my package not gotten to its intended destination and i would have felt i had somehow done something wrong (even though i hadnt).

Just thinking about all of you ladies still waiting and i wish there was something i could do to help!
