I like the idea of our "chat" being on here - that way if someone can't be on during the official opening party, they can still see what their recipient had to say about the package. I keep looking at mine, doing my best effort at x-ray vision, but I just have to wait.

Is anyone else having trouble posting this morning? They must do work on the site on Sunday, because I have tried posting 3 times now and can't get it posted.
Terri, if you are planning to come to Lancaster, let me know when and maybe we can hook up.
Love all the cookies. It is so much fun to do the cookie baking with others.
Okay , lets see if THIS one will post.

Here is a song that was just posted on E-quilter:
A Song for Early December
*
(Sung to the tune of "Let It Snow")

Oh the shopping outside is frightful
But
the fabric is so delightful
And until this Log Cabin is built -
Let me Quilt! Let me Quilt! Let me Quilt!

My frog stitch is loudly ripping
But I've plenty of florals for stripping,
Just don't make me cut up my kilt!
Let me Quilt! Let me Quilt! Let me Quilt!

When I finally bind the edge
How I'll hate going back to my chores,
But if you'll take a cooking pledge
I can embellish some more!

My machine is slowly dying
and my 505 Spray is drying
But my Log Cabin's been rebuilt...
Let me Quilt! Let me Quilt! Let me Quilt!

I'll definitely be there! It's March 14-17th. There's the one at the Convention Center in Lancaster which is the AQS show, then there's one at Continental Inn and one at Host Inn. I figure we can do one each day....well, the Continental and Host ones will probably be a one day deal and the one at the Convention Center another day since they are closed on Sunday

I agree about meeting here. Then we can post pics of our gifts. Next weekend will be so exciting!!!! Jdeery and her friend are coming to play in my sandbox on Saturday. We are going to focus on Christmas sewing. I am going to have to come up with a project this week to work on then. Then SUNDAY!!!!!!

I also like the idea of chatting here, that way those who can't make it can still see what everyone said and got when they can get on.
