Ok Chele I hope Mardi doesn't mind, here are the pics of the one I made for her. The top was done by hand and then I used my new machine to do the quilting.

That's beautiful Star and I LOVE the backing fabric, in fact, I have a bit in my stash. I fussy cut the hearts for the centre squares in my little dog's log cabin cushion. Your strippy piecing is really cool. :D

Thanx Chele and k3n! that abcking was from my grandmas stash  I just love it I still have a little left. I can't believe you fussy cut those itty bitty squares!! The strips were scraps that I was sewing together little by little, I liked how it turned out I will probably try to do this again with some other scraps

Cute like I said I have no experience when it comes to FMQ so I knew I was probably shooting in the dark. But you never know when a stray thought is helpful or not.

I love your quilt! That is so cute!! And the colors are my color choices most of the time. Your tiny piecing is so terrific! How big are your HSTs? or I should say how little are they.

Terri your blue and white DQ is beautiful!! Blue is my favorite color and and the blue and white reminds me of my grandma's dinner plates when I was a kid. They were the oriental motif. I can't remember the term I want to say delft but I'm not sure that is right. Anyway you did a terrific job on that quilt!! Love the prairie points. Have never tried them yet.

I didn't look up the name of the square yet, I will try to do it today, I have to go out to the garage for that, and it is cold right now, It snowed last night and so I am trying to avoid finding out how cold it is between here and there.

I still want to put it on the big table, I find it easier to handle for the FMQ. One day, If I can keep from laughing to hard when I am doing it.

Like everything else, for FMQ, you just have to gather your courage and go for it, I know the logistics of it, I need more practice. The doll quilts are the perfect thing to practice on ladies and gentlemen. they are small and a lot easier to move under your machine than the big ones. As much as I make fun of mine, it was a lot of fun. There is so much that you can do with it.
