Yes Chele, each leaf block is a pocket. So is the pumpkin block in the middle. In fact, the pumpkin block is a pocket on top of a pocket with a pocket flap. The corner pockets are a pocket on a pocket too. It is made to keep all your paper dolls and clothes neat and tidy between play times. Gwyn

Gwyn what a fantastic quilt, I love all the little pockets. Something like this done as an advent calendar for the kids would be a good idea, with a little gift tucked into a pocket for each day of Advent - now you've got me thinking... :D

One of the latest quilt magazines has a pattern for a calendar like that. In this case they made it a Halloween calendar. I'll have to check, but I think it's the Sept/October issue of Quiltmaker.

Gwyn I love your quilt!! I saw one years ago that had pockets and you appliqued the alphabet on the pockets and made little pillows to match the pockets for an alphabet game. I made one for my son at the time.

I love your scrappy look! Such a cute little quilt!
