Still working on my August one. Vacation and getting kids back to college has really put a crimp in my quilting. But sign me up for September. Love the theme!!!

Dotty's latest selvage creation. Isn't it darling? My daughter is going to steal it for sure. She loves owls. Thanks again Dotty!

I also received three gorgeous angel quilts for the angel bank from Maggie_1963. Ya'll are going to wish your partner stiffs you and you get one of these beauties! LOL! I'm teasing. No stiffing allowed! Thanks again Maggie. I know your quilts will be thoroughly enjoyed by the recipients.

I'm in Chele! I do NOT have to purchase fabric, as I am already loaded with black and white!

I would be glad to do Int'l this time, if that works.

Some of us know that!! What about the "pop" of color--would be the excuse you need to go to LQS! G

I was debating about taking a month off but now that it is black and white I can't take off. I have those colors already so I MUST join in...right?

That's my story and I'll stick with it (for now). :)

    Count me in.

Nope! I'm going to be good this month! I already have plenty of 'pops' as well, so no LQS for me (at least not for this).

Actually, I've already done one new black and white with red that still needs quilting and binding, and may end up making two or three before I decide which one to send. Too many ideas in my head!

I'm a newbie.....this being my second swap. If I can just find my flame fabric, I'll be getting started on it. Hope my partner this month likes fire, lol!

1234Irene are you sure you should be using flames? How do you quilt a hurricane? Newbies have such enthusiasm! I love it!
Seriously hope all the East Coasters are all battened up and in safe places this next week.

I can just see 1234Irene turning her fabric stash upside down searching for the flame fabric...I know how she feels, you know its in there somewhere and of course it will be the LAST piece you find once you have your sewing room trashed searching for it

I can testify to that! I knew that I had the PERFECT fabric to finish working on my Quilting in the New Year Swap and it took me two weeks to find it. Almost bypassed it but it fell out when I was pulling another fabric out. hehe

I'm still looking for the Christmas fabric that I need a 1 1/2 x 8" piece to finish binding on a small quilt. I broke down and went to LQS today and bought more. LQS owner still laughing at me!! I'll find the fabric tomorrow, after I have cut the extra binding I need.

I'm in! It's been a while since I've been in this swap, but I've finished all my other "must do's", & then the black & white grabbed me. I pm'd Chele....and away we go! :D

I am excited about this month's too. Now, if Irene will just go easy on us I will be able to work all weekend.

For some reason my mind keeps going to the song...."Come on Irene...you know what I mean..."
