I'm still looking for the Christmas fabric that I need a 1 1/2 x 8" piece to finish binding on a small quilt. I broke down and went to LQS today and bought more. LQS owner still laughing at me!! I'll find the fabric tomorrow, after I have cut the extra binding I need.

I'm in! It's been a while since I've been in this swap, but I've finished all my other "must do's", & then the black & white grabbed me. I pm'd Chele....and away we go! :D

I signed up and I'm taking my black and whites with me when we evacuate. Hopefully I'll get them mailed.

I am excited about this month's too. Now, if Irene will just go easy on us I will be able to work all weekend.

For some reason my mind keeps going to the song...."Come on Irene...you know what I mean..."

LOL LOL I did that with sewing needles. Bought some at the LQS, took them home and promptly lost them. Had to go back the next day and buy some more :( still haven't found the others - think I might have thrown them out with the bag they were in

Referred to as "Mom's Senior moments" around here with rolling eyes. Not so funny when the others do it!

Grrrrrrr.......I am soooo ready to start my DQ! WHERE is that flame fabric! Wouldn't be so bad if I could buy more, but I know it's not available around here....daughter is moving out this week, and her room becomes my sewing room....it will be destroyed before I can even move into it, lol. All I need are 4-6 little 4" blocks of it.

Yes, I've signed up, then read this thread afterwards. I made a start on the doll quilt last week. Keen, I know. It's not black and white, in fact I haven't got any black and white material. I've got some black, but I don't trust it not to run. So, partner, be warned! It's an off-topic doll quilt, but you shouldn't have long to wait.

The August swap has been fantastic. There are some wonderful little quilts posted there.

I also received three gorgeous angel quilts for the angel bank from Maggie_1963. Ya'll are going to wish your partner stiffs you and you get one of these beauties! LOL! I'm teasing. No stiffing allowed! Thanks again Maggie. I know your quilts will be thoroughly enjoyed by the recipients.
Dotty... terrific, as usual!

Oh, Maggie_1963 makes great quilts. I have one of her angel quilts!
