Thanks Rosemary for sharing your pumpkins with us. I made a big wall hanging I must find to put on my front door.
It's a funky trick or treat one with frankie, pumpkins and goulies. about 36 x 45 I just love it. some of the blocks are from a swap on here awhile ago. can't wait to see yours complete.

For some reason, I thought making a pin cushion would be a piece of cake. I'm on try number three now -- the first was ugly but serviceable; the second was funny looking; this one, however, seems to be working out. I will definitely finish by the mailing deadline. I hope my secret pal has a good imagination!

Likethedog, take a deep breath!!! it's just a little pillow. Don't worry too much.
just stuff the dickens out of it, and have a good time with it.
I hope now that you've made one, you'll join in again next month. it's really fairly
easy. don't sweat the small stuff. Take an easy pattern and make it fancy with
the trim or the pins. Keep it on the easy side at first. oh, don't forget to breath!

Thursday was our (hubs & I) 14 & 11 Anniversary, but since he
refuses to go to ANY restaurant on a Friday or Saturday (he doesn't like
crowds) we are going to the Outback today to celebrate.
I can't wait we haven't been to the Outback since my birthday in June.
For those (which is probably all) of you who don't know what I mean by
the 14/11 it is 14 years together and 11 years married.
Now many of you may be shocked to learn that not ALL internet romances
end up as weirdo freaks, flakes, or dangerous. Hubs and I met on Yahoo
Personals. He placed an ad on Sept. 12, 2000 and five minutes after the
ad was published I replied to him chatted online for a couple days, than
met a Wendy's to meet in person (you know a public place for safety), we
sat in the restaurant until 10pm when they finally asked us to leave so they
could close. From there we sat in the parking lot in my car until 2am talking.
We each kept saying "I need to get home and in bed have to be to work early"
only for one of to say something and get another topic started.
We talked on the phone constantly after that night, and the following Sunday
he invited me to his place after he took his daughters home. I cooked him one
of my family favorite dishes (Cheesy Mexican Chicken), and we watched a movie
"The Green Mile". the night before (on Saturday) was the last night I stayed in
my own apartment. I had a cat and went home everyday to tend to Mr. Z (his
name was Zoya) also got changes of clothes. After about 3 weeks of that he said
to bring Zoya home with me so that he could meet all the girls (his 2 daughters
and his two female cats).
The rest as they say is history. BEST thing I ever did, it might have taken me 3
times to get it right (for husbands) but I am glad to have my wonderful man.
Ok no more mushy love stuff.

Lucky you Louise.
I met my dear hubby on a phone dating chatline.
Pretty much the same as you. got kicked out of a Ruby Tuesday that night.
didn't see himthe next night, we both had dates that we felt was to rude to blow off.
after that, we were together forever from then on. we've been married 7 yrs, know each other 8 1/2.
he hated cats till he met my maine coone, he fell in love with Xanadu too. He cried for days when he
died. We have zoey now, and she's daddy's little girl now. I have a son who will be 25, and we all get along very well.
