For any of you who are interested here is the link to SECRET SANTA http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...a-t282172.html I know many people missed the sign ups last year and were disappointed.

Why oh why did I decide to dunk my PC? It didn't look dirty but thought I'd give it an extra sparkle...well the dang red silk apples ran -- trying to fix it with blotting and baking soda. Shoot!
Lucky's apparently doesn't carry color-catchers, which I looked for yesterday for other red material I bought... yet I wasn't concerned about my PC and wouldn't have used it if I'd found it. Dang...well hopefully it doesn't look too bad.
(Shaking my fist at reds...red also was the only embroidery thread that ever ran on me, too...)
This after misplacing my PC in a 'safe' place and then finding it again. Not my week here.

Aw, K-Roll, looks like you are have a rough week. Well, on the bright side, it can only go up from here. Yes, I've mostly had some problems with some reds once in awhile. I didn't know silk ran?. Interesting. Looks like you put a new creative spin on your card. Now, you just need to find a way to make it work for you.

I received a bonus card from banwell --- this picture does not do it justice --- it's quilted around the ship & the seagull, and is very pretty in real life. My wind-up Dungeness crab toy was waiting for it!
Thank you banwell for the thought - it portrays a wonderful day for sailing, as you said.
PS Judith - mine goes out later today or tomorrow.

Sorry Judith, despite my thinking September would see me back to "normal", my best plans have not worked out. The pinched nerve was only the start, this last week has only seem me home for one day and that day was taken up with a Drs visit and ultra sound for an ongoing problem I have. We had to have two short trips away this week. We arrived home last night and today was our annual quilters zone day, the group I belong to co-hosted the event with another local group. Tomorrow I have to catch up on office work, Monday will be another ultra sound and a trip to the car garage. I am still very hopeful that I will have my Postcard in the mail by the 20th. I have started and have made some progress on it.
