I get anything that made it to my house on Wednesday and after this coming Friday. Are you asking because there is a package waiting for me?

I use golden delicious -- mostlly because that was what I had the first time I made the cake and it worked. The recipe didn't reallly help with that. You are right, I made it once with Jonathans and it was good, but not as good.

I'd love to hear if anyone tries and how you liked it.

I will let you know when I make it. It might be a while as there is a lot of cake to be eaten up here first.

Oh no, not the post office's fault, they do normal deliveries, but I am on the road, so mail gets held for me by the week. So I must practice patience, as my father would say: " it builds character." :P
And I have a feeling that mail will be GOOD this week
What do you think, Koko and Wine Woman?

Way to go girl! I'm the same way. I'm not a bit shy about introducing myself to strangers.
