I thank you so much for getting this whole undertaking going. I wouldn't have the first notion what to do. And since my forgetter has improved, I bet you all are grateful. Bless you Emily and thanks. Ruth

Sent mine on 9th. Sent blocks to Barbsbus on 7th, she received them already. At that rate, my swap partner should have hers very very soon. I think USPS and Australia Post have exceeded all expectations this time.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dotty! I love it all! The fabric is beautiful, the pincushion is being used, and the candy is gone (& boy oh boy, was it good). :D

This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner every month. The person you send to is different then the person you receive from.

You do need to send me a PM every month, as I cannot keep track very well of people signing up for more then 1 month. Please don't post a message on the thread about signing up, as I may not see it.

I would prefer that you resend your info, as I make minor changes to the forum each month, but it is not necessary.

If you would like to do it, please send me a pm with this information. If you are international, feel free to join!

if you are interested in joining, please send me a Private message with the following information.

Screen Name:
Real Name:
Address:
Favorite Colors:
Favorite Candy:
Your favorite notion/fabric line, etc:
Your least favorite color(s)
Least favorite candy
Least favorite notion/fabric line
Brand of sewing machine:
Is there anything you like to collect?
Besides quilting, what do you like to do?
Allergies:
Additional Information:
Email Address:
Can you mail international?

Least favorite thing:

This form will be given to your secret pal. The more you put on there, the better she/he will be able to get things you'd like. Additional information may be helpful to them as well.

There is a 10 dollar budget for this swap. The 10 dollars can, or cannot include things from your stash. Postage isn't included in the ten dollars. The most important thing to remember with the budget is to have fun, but please don't spend a lot more then 10.

If you want ideas on what to send, look at the previous swaps. Things that are always fun to get is fabric, notions, notepads, pens, little thing like that.

Sign ups will close the 5th, and names will be paired on the 5th and sent out by the 7th.
Packages need to be sent out by the 25th if you are in the United states and are sending to someone in the US. If you live international, or are sending to International, please send by the 20th. Send it as early as you'd like!

Please make sure you do send, and if you don't, please email/pm me and let me know so I can make sure your pal does get a gift.

My birthday is the 22 of September(no I'm not saying how old I am) and is also the 5th month of the swap! I hope everybody is having fun with your pals :) I am having a lot of fun coordanating it!

If you have questions, please pm me and I will try to answer as quickly as possible.

I am unable to do this swap past this month. It was a lot easier with 38 people vs. 164 and life has gotten in the way. I want to focus on quilting, not the computer. With this swap I am on the computer a lot, and am not able to get as much done as I'd like.

I will manage this month, and the month before, but I will not do the next month's swap.
If you'd be interested in taking it over from me, send me a note.
If you haven't found anyone to take over and you liked doing it with fewer people, maybe you could put a limit on the number and only the first, say, 40 or 50 or whatever number people who sign up by the 1st (or pick a date) of the month will be included that month. Just a thought. Thanks for doing it up until now.

QuiltingBee thanks so much for doing this. It has grown so much and is lots of fun. I cannot imagine trying to match up so many names. You have done a great job!
