This is my first month doing this swap and for some reason I never got my SP, but OK Darla volunteered to do it with me. I've been looking at all of your squishys you've received and I'm kinda worried... I haven't been quilting for very long and so I don't really have a stash to pull things out of to send. I don't want her to be disappointed with what I send, so does anyone have any good suggestions of what I could get and still stay close to the $10 budget?

check out all the older swaps. they will give you some great ideas.things aren't always sewing themes. you could look for a nice purse size tablet,journal,phonebook,Candy,or snacks, needles,thread,patterns, something from your state,check out the remnants at the local store.purse size sew kit, quilt magazine. good luck quiltedcomforts. the idea is to have fun and that is in the giving and the recieving.surprises are always fun. Thank you so much Shirley ( AKA Shamrock) for all your wonderful goodies. I love everthing you sent me. The christmas fabric is going to be perfect for a table topper and I think I will use the snowman blocks for the borders. I also received a lovely pattern for pillows by thimbleberries. A bar of Dove dark chocolate and a post card and information about the area that you live. Again thanks so much.

WOOHOOO I got my SS package in the mail this weekend. It was from Nancy. It was great fabric with tiny snowmen all over it (I LOVE snomen) and some solids to match. There is enough here to make 2 pillowcases. Then I got some beautiful lighhouse cards to send out. This was a great package Nancy THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

OH BTW: my ss package goes ut today, it is going all the way to NEW YORK!!!! OH MY WHO COULD IT BE????? :)
