Red Cardinals are just about my favourite birds, (after our little British Red Robin that is ;) and I would like to make one as a treat for myself!
Bye for now,

Lauriejo, I too would love to know what pattern you used as the cardinal is my mothers favorite bird and I'd love to make her a few for her Chrismas tree

I can't claim credit for making the cardinal. I had purchased a set of them at a craft show, but I decorate my tree with all one of kind ornaments. Since the state bird of Ohio is a cardinal it seemed like the perfect addition to a swap gift. The cardinal was my mom's favorite bird too, she loved to see the spot of color in the grays and whites of winter.

I am finishing up September (I've been gone since before names went out.) and already have an OCtober, November and December boxes started. It is more fun than...just quilt squares. I love doing this.

Darla: Have no fear. Your box has outgrown it's box so I need to gat a box a bit bigger than the other box. Keep the faith.
