Wow, luvstoquilt and Tulip, the DQs you received are gorgeous. Beautiful work on each one.

I finally got my DQ quilted today and will attach binding and label tonight, ready for mailing to omacookie.

These quilts are fantastic, so many different ideas. It's a long bank holiday weekend here this weekend for St Patrick's Day so I will get mine finished on Monday. Looking forward to all the parades, the wearing of the green (shamrock) and wetting the green (having a drink with friends and family). Sásta Lá Fhéile Pádraig (happy St Patricks day)

I have to thank Nancy in Louisiana who sent me most of the fabrics in that little quilt. Trust me ... every last bit that the kind and generous folks on the QB sent me is going to be quilted!

I love the quilts I am seeing come in. Inspiring is the word that comes to mind! I have been very "into" the art quilts lately, just love looking at them, and am trying my hand a little, very elementary work, but I am enjoying these little treasures that both give practice, experience and joy. Both in the doing and the looking. My DQ is finished but for the binding, which I will do tonight. So here is a sneeky peeky, Annaquilts, of what is headed your way. I hope you like it.

Krystyna...love that quilt! Can't wait to see what Buslady has done as well. I love seeing these little quilts. I hope you pick "Spring" for the next quilt...have no idea what to do if you pick "April Fool"! I am off to the quilt shop...I am going to buy myself a present..a 1/4" foot for my little Janome. I have joined a local "Quilting Bee" and I told the ladies I had a really hard time making a consistent 1/4" seam. I was told it is worth the price and if I get it I will never have a problem again. I hope I can come back without any new fabric because the Quilter's of the Bee are having a fabric auction on Apr. 24 and I have seen some really great stuff...I can't wait and am trying not to spend any money until that auction!

Yes! April has an either or theme ... Spring Has Sprung OR April Fool and, funny thing April 1st is our wedding anniversary twice! First in a secular service and then - quite by accident - in Church!

My DH and I were also married on April Fool's Day in 1982. We are still trying to figure out who was the bigger fool.
