April 15 was the deadline to join the swap. (Sign-ups close April 15, 2013. Sets are due to me by April 30th. I will swap them out, and get them in the mail no later than May 8th.) A few days late isn't bad with all the swaps she's dealing with and with waiting for last minute mailing to arrive. Do not be worried Maripose had the best swap!

Sheri, I'm not worried & in no hurry as I mentioned, just curious. Thank you for explaining the process, good information for future planning. I apologize if I put additional stress on Mariposa, our wonderful host, please forgive me.

Any question is a good one. I remember when I did my first swap here on the QB. It made me abit nervous to send something I spent money on to relative strangers. And did I follow all the directions right. I'm a natural worrier lol. I've done a variety of swaps here since that first one. From fabric swaps to block swaps. They've all added to my stash variety and helped me learn new skills. I hope you are please when this swap is over and that you want to do another one.

I agree with Sheri.. I have been in a bunch of swaps, and have never been disappointed. I have been in a swap organized by Mariposa, and I am grateful for all the work she has put into the swap, and I greatly appreciate it. I am not a warrior, and am not impatient. I have started to cut squares for the next swap, and am concerned that they will be done ahead of time, and that I followed all the directions..

And note that Mariposa did not get the last of the squares until May 7, so it's understandable if she's running a bit late. No problem for me and I truly appreciate all the hard work that must go into these swaps. Besides, I've got a whole lot of postage stamps to keep me busy!

Thanks for the input from all of you, it's appreciated. I just asked a question & meant no harm.

I swap 2" charms domestically & internationally with another group that lets you swap directly with other swappers. In that swap, the Host pairs the swappers, sends you e-mail addresses of your partners, you contact your partners for physical addresses & swap with a deadline, usually 7-10 days if domestic. You are required to e-mail your partners when their charms arrive. That particular swap's process alleviates a lot of work on the Host. Quilters are such sweet people, you never expect that little goodie they sometimes include in your squishy!
TWO groups to swap with, yippee!

Djmat... I've done one of the swaps you are talking about. It was nice, as I swapped with people from Australia. I didn't like the part of packaging, and mailing each individual package. It was a lot more expensive, also . A bunch of the people were from the board that we are swapping with here. Hope you enjoy your squishy...

Howdy folks! I have surfaced. My apologies for the delays. I had unforeseen travel, along with being sick for a week.
The squares are swapped, and awaiting their trip to the post office. Thanks for your patience~

Hope you're all well, Mariposa. Thanks for your hard work. Looking forward to another squishy full of beautiful gems from all you great swappers!

Like barri1, I also did swaps on the other venue and didn't like having to do all the packaging. I'm really lazy and would rather have someone else do the hard work! Yay, Mariposa

Woohoo, got my squishy today! I recognize some familiar names, but noticed some new ones. I'm looking forward to sorting through these little gems. Again, thank you Mariposa and to all of you who participated.

Thanks Mariposa.. I got my squishy today.. and can't wait to play with them.. I took a quick glance at them, but don't have time to play with them.. I have a seminar starting at 8:30 tomorrow.. I don't know what people are thinking when they schedule things so early.. It kills the night before, and the day of..

Squishy arrived today. Thank you fabulous hostess and swappers.

I dug right in and used some to finish my crab apples (the postage stamp sections anyway). I will post a picture soon.
