Hi everyone. Between being sick at Christmas time and making a baby quilt for a shower on Sunday, I got off track. Glad I finished 2 sets before Christmas! Army lady I"ll be starting my 3rd set this weekend and I hope to finish and mail by Jan 20 or 21.Wanted to do 4 sets but don't think that will happen. PS love all the blocks posted-each one is more beautiful than the next.

djmat, great blocks.

Actually all the blocks coming in are so pretty. Lots of beautiful flowers and colors.

Are we supposed to fold the blocks to make them fit into the priority bubble mailers?

DJ, you will have to fold them so that they will all fit in the package, don't forget to put them in a large plastic bag marked with your addresss in case the package gets torn. a lot of the ladies are folding their blocks in to squares and putting them in quart size bags (4 in a bag) and then sending them. I hope this helps.

I received JayneW and cheesehead blocks today they are all beautiful. Where do you ladies find all the lovely fabric. I am thinking that I may need to map out a road trip to come visit you all so I can go shopping with you all. I am loving all the colors of the fabrics. We all are going to have some really beautiful quilts once we get them finished.

So far I have received blocks from 6 ladies and I also added mine to the container. I still have 23 ladies that I will be getting blocks from. That is a lot of blocks so with my count we all should have plenty of blocks to make a wonderful quilt from.

I always send in zip lock bags so the host can send me the swap in the same bag. I haven't swapped 12.5" blocks in a while & wish there was a way to keep them flat to avoid ironing again! Thanks for the quick response as I'm ready to mail, if this weather will cooperate!
hugs,
dj
