I think I will try the white on my test block and see how I like it. Never tried it before so nothing ventured nothing gained! Thanks RedGarnet!

Great block - love that blue background fabric too.

I have nearly finished my next set but am heading out for dinner tonight and out for the day tomorrow, so probably won't get any sewing time for a day or so.

Your welcome. I think you will like it. I did when I tried it on a christmas block with light colors.

You do know that the sets are in multiples of 4, right?

Ladies I have finished all five blocks and am ready to mail. I have been having trouble uploading pictures so I will try again later. This is the themes of my blocks: flip flops, Bicycle (who doesn't go biking in the summer), 4th of July, Butterfly and boat.

Thanks Maxie, Those sound like great blocks! I can't wait to see them.

Just checking in everyone. It won't be long before the signups close and the blocks are to be mailed. How are you all getting along? I need to finish up my last set of blocks this weekend. I hope to have a photo to share with you soon.
