that's because you live in the East where you actually have a season!! Our fall in CA is lovely, but just a nice extension of summer, only not too hot. If anyone ever visits San Francisco, September/October are the absolute best months, weather-wise. It's beautiful, temperate and the prettiest time of the year!! July and August are extremely foggy (not 30 miles out where I am, but certainly in SF) and cold, and tourists are always walkingn around in shorts and cheap SF sweatshirts they buy because they are surprised by the weather.

Now, I'm just itching to have a fall colored quilt. What's the tally up to now?

colletta is going to be the deciding vote - maybe we should send her a Fall Fruit Basket.

oh, but them someone will send her raspberry filled chocolate.....


and lets face it chocolate beats fruit any day of the week.

If someone sent me chocolate it would probably sway my vote too! We have just a few trees starting to change colors and the green is "old looking" if that makes sense. I'm ready for the blaze of color that comes in late September/early October. Not to mention the apples come into season! Yummy apple crisp...
