K-Roll, I think we all have more than one project going at the same time. LOL That just seems to be a quilter's trait. I have to be in the mood to work on something. If I'm not, I just mess up everything I touch and have to re-do it. I've learned to just put something down and walk away when that happens.

Update: My machine has actually died. My poor Brother started smoking and I could smell burning wires. It kept locking and giving me an error code. It was only 15 years old but maybe that's like cat years so it was really 100+ or something. I have one other machine I can use and it always works no matter how long it sits. The irony is that it actually is 100+ years old. It's a hand-crank Singer! I will be shopping for another machine soon. It may be time for an upgrade so time will tell. In the meantime, I will finish the last two sets I have started on my Singer.

GracefulAnn, I am so sorry your machine has died on you. I hate losing something that I depend on. But, on the bright side, you'll have a blast shopping for a new machine! How lucky that you have your vintage Singer to use. Aren't they wonderful!?

Libster I love my old Singer. I bought it at a boot sale back in 1989 when I was stationed in London UK. I used it to stitch my husbands patches and ranks on his air force uniforms back then. I used it to stitch my oldest daughters first Christmas dress and lots of baby quilts. My husband would actually crank for me while I controlled the bulky uniforms under the needle.

I love the blocks I have been seeing from all you talented ladies. I adore the little gingerbread girl with the curly icing hair! Great job everyone!

snownannie, love the blocks I PMed you with the address info.

Sleepy Hollow I did receive your blocks I PMed you the day I got them.

GracefulAnn sorry to hear your sewing machine died but as Libster said you can have fun looking for a new one, there are a lot of them out there now. I have a Topaz 40 and I love it. Just got to figure out how to work the embroidery part of it, I would love to make some Christmas Ornaments on it.

Ladies just a friendly reminder that The deadline (October 7th) to have the blocks to me is coming upon us fast. I am loving all the blocks that I have received and the ones that are getting ready to arrive.

JayneW I PMed you the info you needed.

Ladies, Cuppy lives in FL and she need a few more days in order to get her blocks finished and mailed so I am going to make the deadline for the blocks to be to me on the 14th of October that is just another week. Thank you all for understanding me having to give the extension.

Does anyone know Annt59 I know she lives in FL also and I have not heard from her, I do hope that she is OK.

I am doing well, thank you. Still working on my blocks but hoping to get them out by Monday. We came through the hurricane in good shape except for some roof damage.
