Nice blocks ladies. Now that I have Halloween picked up and put away. It is time to start on winter. Hope to have something to share soon.

This is sample block #4. This is a 12" block. All of the blocks I've shown so far have all been sample blocks. I still have to make all the rest of them.

klaws, very pretty red and green block -- very graphic and just says "holiday time".

It looks like you're using the same cutting mat that I have -- reversible Fiskars. If so, how do you like it? I really thought I'd like the color for seeing the fabric against it but find it can be difficult to see the edge of lighter fabrics. Maybe I just need better lighting! I really like my Fiskars rotating mats in yellow.

I tend to use the yellow side more than the green. I like it.

You would have laughed had you been able to see me. I thought -- yellow side! what yellow side? -- so I jumped up to turn mine over and look. Alas, mine is green on both sides.
