Well, I too changed what I was going to make for my last set. Now, I'm just waiting for my fabric order to arrive. My demo block went well. Yeah!!! Oooo, I can't wait for my fabric to come. But, It does mean, I won't be able to finish them till next week. I'm going to piece my last set. I will be thinking of them all weekend while I'm at work. I do love a job that supports my "fabric" fix. lol I am loving this block swap!

How cute! These little dolls remind me of Betsy from the old mccall's magazines. Anyone remember her? A free paper doll in each issue.

Here is the web site devoted to her... If you click on the years it will bring them up.

I remember Betsy McCall paper dolls. I use to play with them too. THen Mary Englebreight put paper dolls in her Home Companion magazine and I collected those in the hopes that my granddaughter would love to play with them BUT she doesn't care for them. (sigh)

That surprises me that a little girl doesn't like the paper dolls. I guess not everyone is the same. My niece loves playing with the ones I printed out for her. But , she loves cuting with the sissors too.

ok guys, I need to finish up a couple more blocks tomorrow. I didn't cut enough of the right size fabric. But, I received my focus fabric. Re-sized the block size. (My focus fabric print was a bit bigger then expected.) But, I made it all work out. What woman doesn't like to be pampered. What do yall think?.....

LOL my granddaughter also was given dolls when she was little (she is 7 now ) and didn't play with them at all. BUT she loves all her stuffies and her brother and her play dress up with the stuffies.....so I just made clothes for the stuffed animals instead. I guess they are softer to cuddle then a dolly.

Those blocks are so pretty and adorable Judith. Think I need that in mine for sure. Ms. Cuddles needs some other pampering critters to go with her.
