I used to embroider and I have several sizes of floss holder plastic bags that I use to store spools, smaller cones and matching bobbins. For the large cones, I use larger plastic bags. What I like about the floss holder bags is they have a hole and a the came with a binder ring that I can use to hook several of them together and hang them on a hook from my pegboard.
