You are going to have such a great space to work in.

What colour are you having the walls painted? I love seeing all the different ways people decorate their sewing spaces.

Y'know... it's sort of a funny story. When I was setting up my very first sewing room, it was the fall of the year. I needed some drawer space, so I went to Walmart and bought some of the plastic drawer systems. Their fall colors were on sale, so I ended up buying two of the orange ones. That was the only color in the room at the time, so when I went to the Dollar Tree for some baskets and other storage containers, I picked up orange of those things too. Needless to say, orange is now the predominant color in the room. So the walls will be a light coral color to match my cheap (frugal?) accessories. LOL!

Looks great so far. I know it will be even greater when finished.

I have oak upper and base cabinets in my sewing room. Counter top is about 90" long. I have an ironing pad on one end and the rest has other things on it. Perfect height for me.
