35 1/2" tall and I am 5'8" My table is one of those 6' folding tables set up on two sets of bed risers. http://www.amazon.com/RISERS-Table-f...m/B000L3OHRS/2
I just love cutting up "outside" with the table on the screened in front porch. I have two large cutting mats that cover the entire table top. Since we live on the sound, the view is fabulous!

I am 5'9" tall. When I made my cutting table I used a piece of plywood and the folding table legs you can find at a hardware store. I went to the local Ace hardware store for help. They suggested that I raise the legs to the correct height by raising the legs by using lengths of pvc pipe cut the lengths needed to bring it up to a comfortable height. I couldn't believe how easy this project was. If I decide to use the table for a dinner, all I have to do is remove the pieces of pipe. I also put caps on the ends of the pipe.

I'm 4' 11" tall, I have my cutting table at 32" so I can reach across if I need to but my ironing board (table I should say) is at 35". I made my own ironing table because I got tired of fighting with wide fabrics so it measures 72" long by 20" wide.

Finally another short person! I'm 4'11"also, but legs are short. I cut on 28" H dining table. Could stand another inch or two, but everything else is usually a little too tall for my stunted legs! LOL Always keep ironing board higher to prevent strain on the back.
