Now we can go out and get old filing cabinets. Love the way you store your fabrics and scraps.

Yes, thank you for sharing, I may never cover my filing cabinets, but I am already making the scrap bags. It took a few tries but I figured out my way, at least, and they are working very well. Brilliant idea from a very creative quilter. I clean my quilting/sewing room periodically, but as you sew and acquire new tools and scraps hide in bags and bins and replicate themselves without hesitation, you have to keep reinventing storage and your idea is fantastic. I might convince myself to paint the cabinets cause your room looks so nice and new.

I love, love, love what you have done. I was getting ready to unload a file cabinet in prep to moving, but not now. It will be refitted like yours except I will be painting mine when it gets warmer. (It will be getting warmer, won't it??) It is a lateral cabinet but should workout fine. Thanks for sharing your inspirations w/us.
