Beautiful piece of furniture and a treasure for sure ! I'm guessing it's cherry, and probably made in Kentucky. Your hubby is definitely a keeper !

Yes it is gorgeous. How nice that everyone got to choose a piece of furniture, and very sweet of your husband to choose that for you. Do you have a photo of what the inside of the drawers look like? It appears that it would hold a lot of spools of thread.

How wonderful, will be a great addition to your room. Even if it doesn't fit current size spools you will be sure to find something to store in it.
