I love the design wall there because the "decorations" are constantly changing and, if I want to hide a miss-mash of quilt blocks (from working on multiple quilts), I can just hang a quilt or top right over what's there. I figure visitors just come and go, but I Live there!
I think that your last sentence sums it all up perfectly!! I agree 100%.

Guests rarely come to front door and i have turned the “formal” living room space in to my sewing studio.
It is constantly changing its layout. Recently got a Qnique longarm so had to move some shelving; but its so heavy we have not had the right help to get it moved completely out. Sewers can generally sew around any mess or confusion!!

I took over the guest bedroom, has a great big window, great lighting and I can see the birds, and other creatures. The room was just sitting empty most of the time, what a waste of space. So we bought a sofa sleeper to put in the room and I can shove my stuff to the other end when guests come. If will have to do or there are hotels nearby.
