You have a wonderful room...I love how you've used older wooden pieces, it gives it a very 'homey' feel. LOVE IT!

Beautiful sewing room, What is the pattern of the wall hanging above the rocking chair?? Love the colors you used in it! I too like organized rooms but due to limited space everything looks cramped. I am so 'anal retentive' that I can't throw threads on the floor when I clip them, have to put them in the waste basket that sits by my machine. lol

That is a funny story. I had the wooden ironing board. That quilt top was my ambitious attempt for my second ever quilt. It was so lopsided I couldn't finish it. But, I loved the colors and had spent so much time on it, that I kept it for 12 years. I finally decided to throw it out. I gave it to my hubby to throw out. I went to work the next day. He was on vacation and that is what he did. Awesome isn't it?
    Happy Quilting.

The pattern is Josie's Star and is Fon's and Porter's "easy quilts" Spring magazine. It was fast and easy.
My waste basket is by my machine, too.
    Happy Quilting.

Love your room, I have a rocker just like yours except I had to have it recovered along the way, no room in my sewing room, so its in my family room, really comfortable chair!
