    My "new" sewing/creating room

Size: 801.3 KBMy craft room was a mess!! I finally decided to get things in order and give away stuff and throw stuff out! Then I was blessed to be able to buy a new work space and two new cabinets for storage. I am LOVING my new clean space!! I also knit so I have new organization for all of my yarn stash too. I still need to label the fabric bins but that will be done soon.Name: DSC01738small.jpg

Size: 144.0 KBThe desk is an L shape so there is a whole other area to the left of my chair by a window where I can do my actual sewing. I plan to do some scrapbooking at the desk too and the top doors are where I keep some of my supplies.

I even "celebrated" by ordering a quilting quilt and a new Quilting machine and it is due to arrive at my house today via FedEx. It's a Brother PQ1500S.

Please take a peek at my room.

Thank you both very much. My new machine came today. I will "play" with it later and get use to it. I also have a second white cabinet identical to the one shown above on the other side of the room for more "storage" craft things. I also do needlepoint and counted cross stitch so I really needed a lot of storage.

Congratulations on your organization. Organization is top priority in a sewing/crafting room.

Where did you purchase the bins? Do you think they would be sturdy enough for fabric?

Your room looks great. I am currently moving all of my fabric to a humidity controlled storage unit near my home. We are going to replace our windows and carpet over the next two months. Because I had so many "treasures", I couldn't get to the windows or see the floor. I just keep buying fabric. It has taken over two bedrooms. When everything is done, I've got to figure out how to get all of my treasures back into the room. Where did you get the white cabinet next to your desk? I really like it. Congratulations on a room well done!

Girl, you must have hit the lottery! I'm currently working on reorganizing my room and would love to have new cabinets but don't think the budget will allow. And you got a new machine too! Good for you. It looks great.
