    My new sewing room floors

A few months ago my dh offer to re-do my sewing room floor and remove the 20 year old carpeting. I came here for advice on what to replace it with.
Its been finished about a month now, so I wanted to post a couple of pictures.
(My dh snapped the pic before my sewing machines were all back in place-I confess to owning 5 that are not pictured. lol )

I also posted a picture of my favorite sewing buddy, who loves this space in the house above all others for the 2nd story view and beautiful sunny window. Her name is Millie and she is our 7 year old lab/beagle.

The floor is beautiful and so is the rug. Millie looks like a queen of the castle in that spot.

You must have gotten great advice from the QB, because it looks like a wonderful place to spend time sewing. Or, in the case of your dog, sunning.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

The new flooring looks great. What type did you decide to install? Your sewing room looks cozy for Millie too. She's a cutie!

    Thank you!
I love it and have been spending many hours up there.
I've even had friends over to sew! We worked on little dresses for Africa on Saturday together.
They are an engineered hardwood. They took about 4 full days to install.
DH is still working on the walk in closet--installing the same hardwood in it and adding a large shelf for fabric.
I decided on a nice large rug to make certain my chairs didn't scratch it.
