My sewing studio (my cave) is always evolving .....

I use a hollow door without the hole, for my cutting table. It holds the giant sized cutting mat nicely, and it is long enough for me to have my machine on the end. I love it. It is sitting on an old computer desk. So it is a great height. I have used this method for years, and it is wonderful.
For our anniversary, DH bought me a ping pong table so I can sandwich quilts upright - hooray! Now I can finally use the huge Horn cutting mat that came with my table. I have been teaching a friend to quilt, so I have a small folding table set up for her, and the ping pong table offers much needed storage underneath. I will move the table out when I do a marathon of sandwiching using industrial clamps to hold the backing. Thank you Carnell for making my quilting life so much easier!
I should have painted the walls before I took over the enclosed garage - my stepsons were pretty hard on the walls when they used this as their "space!" So please excuse the ugly walls
