There is a smaller version that will hold rotary cutters and more. I like both sizes.

I have a kitchen tool caddy, one that revolves, that I keep on my sewing table for all those things that I use all the time. It has all sorts of sections. I try to be very diligent about putting things back so they don't get lost.

I use a plastic round organizer with taller bins in the center and smaller ones on the outside. Scissors, rulers, etc go in the center and smaller things go in the outer bins. I keep it on my sewing desk to the right of my machine next to my pincushion.

like Barb in Louisiana, I have a 5-drawer sterlite on rollers and use the top two smaller drawers for little doo-dads and the bottom 3 are filled with fabric. However, I really liked the tool carrier Vitality showed she purchased on Amazon... Since my sewing supplies are stored in a spare bedroom upstairs and I sew at the dining room table downstairs, I think a little tool carrier would be handy. As always, I get great ideas from members on this board... love it.

Several years ago I purchased a clear vinyl shoe holder and hung it on the back of my studio door. Everything I use on a limited basis (pinking shears, hot glue gun etc) goes up top (I'm short so things I don't have to get to often go there) Everything else goes toward the middle (making pens and pencils, seam rippers, calculator, measuring tapes, and the list goes on and on) Has even helped this "Not so neat nik" keep everything neat, tidy and easily accessible. One of the best things I ever bought!!

I went to home goods and found a little 10" square 2" high container-somewhat higher than a styrofoam meat tray and I keep all those things in or around that little box and periodically clean it out. If I use an item while sewing I just place it in the tray and I always have it handy.

i took a piece of vinyl and made some pockets for all those ''things'' then slit it about 2 inches from the top and just the size of the drawer in the cabinet next to the sewing machine ..the split top hangs on the front of the cabinet everything close at hand ......and if you need to travel roll it up and off you go [you could use old jeans or some sort of duck cloth as well]
