Oh, wow, that is fabulous! Imagine what it will look like when you have it painted and are settled in! Lots of wonderful work space, you could even have a friend or two come to sew with you. And as someone else said, hanging some of your work in the stairwell would look wonderful! I'm looking forward to seeing your progress and the finished space!

So happy you are putting difficult times behind!

How exciting, to have your own space! I'm sorry that you had to go through Sandy, but happy for you that you've landed, and will get to create anew!

What a wonderful sewing studio! Can't wait to see it when it's painted. So happy that you finally have your own space again and sorry that you had to go through Sandy!

What a great space! I wish we could have basements in Florida but here the basements are called "pools"

So happy for you. Isn't it going to be just wonderful when that room is painted and you are down there sewing away to your hearts content ?

Need fabric?? Great girl cave. Love the black shelving you have small containers on in the first room!

Solstice, no fabric, but thank you very much. After Sandy the members of QB were so kind and generous that I am back to my pre-storm challenge: sewing through it all before I die! Although I intend to invite some new friends over to sew with me! The shelving was from Walmart. It was a perfect fit for the alcove in our temporary apartment.

Thanks for the idea about hanging little quilts on the stairwell walls. Since I was once hostess of the doll quilt swap, I still have plenty of them!
