Happy new digs!!
What you can't see behind the piles is the NEW HOME treadle! When we saw the house for the first time, I spotted it and nearly screamed, "It's a sign!!!" The owner said she'd throw it in if we purchased the house. I actually had it put into the contract!

That is actually a great idea -- especially since some of my new friends are from a "stitching group" -- which, as it turns out, means only crocheting. So, I'm going to teach them all basic quilting! They can certainly yarn bomb the post.

So happy for you, loosing your home is such a tramatic thing. Ours burned one time but we didn't loose everything and the ins company fixed the house. Bless you and let us see more pictures, from the granny with 5-10 sq feet of sewing space.

And the pale yellow paint should make such a difference. get er done and you will be happy and can start unpacking.

Wow, you deserve something like that after what you've been through. Very, very nice!

I'm real happy that you are getting settled into your new home. Your basement will be amazing for all your quilting adventures and you will have so much space to fill and enjoy. Thanks for the tour and best wishes for a happy place all your own.

It's great to hear that you are finally back into a real home after your travails. Yes, get the neighbor to paint; one of our previous homes had butter yellow in the basement and it makes it so much less cavelike. A 301 and a new )9'e treadle--wow"
