Someone showed a embroidery box with needles in it. You can buy them at any craft store and they have them at Wal -Mart in the sewing or beading section. Hopes this helps.

I save the little metal Altonids boxes and paint them different colors. Then I put a magnetic in the bottom and mark the ends of the boxes as to what kind of needles are in the boxes. You can stack them 8 high without anything around them. Works great.

love that idea. I have 7 machines and needles are a hard thing to keep up with and handy. I try to store them in the attachment boxes that comes with the machines but they take up space on the tables.. thanks for sharing

Here's the idea I used for my needle storage. Works very well for me.

I have one for all my needles and love it. I think I got mine in the fishing or just plain hardware section of WalMart. Cheaper than JoAnn's.

TXAggiemom - that is a really good idea. They are labeled nice and large and easy to read and you can just take out the little box you need, rather than the whole thing.

I use the plastic containers from baby food. They are perfect for so many things: needles, bobbins, pins. The tops stay on so well
we had 5 grand babies so I have lots of containers

Just saw your post, the container I remember seeing was like a days of the week pill case with 7 divided areas. Joanne fabrics has those as well as a larger case or embroidery . Hope you the one you are looking for.
