Default plastic box for storing packages of sewing machine needles?

I vaguely remember seeing a photo of a plastic box storing sewing machine needle packages. I think the packages were taken off the backing cardboard so it was only the case. Does anyone else remember this? I tried a search, but ended up spending over and hour wandering around, finding all kinds of OTHER good ideas!

Put storing machine needles in the look up, and different ideas come up for storage. Hope this helps. One person made a storage out of a wax paper carton.

I know what you are talking about. I couldn't find the thread but I did find the same plastic box at Joann's. Look in the embroidery section. It is a box about 10x10 with about a dozen squares compartments inside. It is designed to hold cards of embroidery thread. I would think any craft store will have it.

ditto to Annie Pearl ..... and sometimes these boxes can be found in the $ $tore.

You could also look check in hardware stores or where fishing supplies are sold.
They have the divided boxes, though I am not sure on the size of the sections.

Small photo inserts for your wallets work really nice if it's just for needles. I have the 10x10 for embroidery with the small 1"x1" cards that you wrap the embroidery threads on. The small wallet inserts are really nice though, actually for the different needles on the wraps they come in. They fit right into the inserts.

Annie, I think that's what I saw! Of course, I was at Joann's today, storage things are 50% off, but nothing like what I needed/wanted!

Michelle is this the link - post started by joyce888? I remember it too cuz after seeing the post, I went to my sewing room and found one of these boxes. It was empty, but now is full of packages of needles.

It's called a floss caddy. I like the idea too. I might just get one myself!
