She sounds like you raised her right! So happy for you and I know it makes you feel good to know she took interest in your hobby to help you have it all organized. Enjoy it and be proud of her! (as we know you are)

Daughters are wonderful...Mine helped me organize my new sewing room in October...she flew down from Buffalo to help me for a week....I am so excited because she has decided to move her in about two week....

What a great idea. Now, if I could borrow your daughter for just a day.......LOL

I bought a cd shelf from IKEA to store fat quarters. It stores a lot and takes up so little space ;-) It's great!! Smart daughter!

That sounds wonderful. The gift of time is one of the best things that can be given.

CD holders make the best FQ storage! I use 3 of them in different sizes. One I use for napkins and other things a bit larger than FQs.

You are surely blessed to have such a considerate daughter! What a great Christmas gift!

What a nice thing to do! She must have been raised right. I love to see how people have their sewing quarters set up!

Darn, we just recently threw our cd-storage out. Perhaps I'll find something used...

Well, Happy New Year to you!! How generous was she to do it, how giving were you to let her.
We sold a very nice wooden one at a garage sale a couple years back. Had I known I was getting so far into quilting, I would have kept it. Thanks for the reminder to look for another one.
