Add some legs to it and make it taller.

What a GREAT idea. I would never have thought of it. Lucky you. You could probably use the bed risers to raise the hutch to the correct height.

great idea. In fact I have just used the same idea only for a television stand. I am going to fix the drawers to have drop down fronts to put the dvd player in and the rest of the drawers will be for the dvd's.. I love mine yours looks great too.

Brilliant! I need something like that myself....will have to keep my eyes open. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice :) I'm also going to be updating my ironing board. I don't have a cat to knock it over but my big board is making my current ironing board a bit unsteady... I have been on the lookout for a similar piece of furniture to convert...

Very nice - and I agree - storage underneath is a wonderful thing!

Terrific idea for ironing and extra storage! Thanks for posting.

Love that idea! My sewing room seems to get smaller all the time! This would definitely be one idea worth trying. Thanks!

what a great Iron/storage idea!! If I didn't love my Moms old wood ironing board so much I would do this too!

I know about the cats knocking things over. However, I think this is too inviting for them to sleep on. I can't win.

love this idea

Fantastic more room for fabric as well as ironing. Is it also the right height to put a cutting mat on as well

Brilliant!
