Glad to see that you are storing in a drawer - the light can easily fade the cotton thread. Great organization. It looks like the dowels are tall enough to store the matching bobbin, too.

Very, very nice!

Just get one of the peg boards & place it in the drawer. My DH made one that custom fit my last desk drawer. I imagine gluing wouldn't last too well if you're anything like me.

Nice and neat!

I love your organization and the veritable rainbow of colors. I can't fathom "needing" more than 60 spools of thread, but then again, there are a lot of things I could never have imagined "needing"as a quilter that I now possess!

Maybe you could cut foam core to fit your drawers and glue golf tees to put the spools on. That way they would be removable if you wanted to use the drawers in their original form later on. Just make sure to measure carefully before you get started.
Hey, maybe I'll try this!

Use peg board and dowels, see where you want pegs and put peices of dowel in peg board and superglue, would not be to heavy that way for the drawer.

The peg board sounds like a great idea, cut dowels to put in holes, quick and easy project.
