Can't wait to see your pictures! I'm planning on a pillowcase marathon this afternoon to try to tame some fabric (and make some last minute gifts, too)!

I had the use of a bf volunteering to help fold my stash, so we folded and then folded some more. I had to laugh when I went to use of the stash that she had folded: she was left-handed and I was not. Hers are all folded backwards for me to use.:D

It's always the last place you put it (unless someone else moved it) and the last place you look (and frankly, usually the most obvious). Happens to the best of us!

You know you have too much fabric when you have to pack up to move house and even you are appalled by the amounts of fabric you have!

Kind of a late comment, but you know you have too much fabric when you start buying something you already have!!!

I feel so much better after reading this post.
I now know that I am not the only one that loses fabric in my own phone.

I sorted that problem and de stashed by at least 50%. Never in a million years will I use all that I was storing. I feel so liberated now that I can see everything organized once again!

LOL!!

I'm so glad you found it but I'm cracking up about storing fabric in the bathtub! Only a quilter would understand...

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have spent 4 hours today going through quilting magazines. Found a bunch that I had more than 1 copy of. Often I do buy them at shows by the bundle. But know that is not the case with all of them. (Of all the things I have miss placed, what I miss the most is my memory.) Anyway I have a good size stack to take to the thrift shop tomorrow. Onward with our getting organized! Sure glad we have each others company as we go through this process.
