When my DH hung my pegboard, he took some old large plastic spools and cut them in halves. Great spacers behind pegboards when screwed thru a hole in pegboard. Also easy patching holes when we moved!

What a find! The ideas are endless with a peg board. My DH painted me 1 and made a frame around it, just to make it look more finished. Popped it on the wall and away we go. We put pegs on and hang a little bit of everything.

I've got one on the wall directly in front of my sewing machine. I keep everything from rulers, to bags of scraps there. I also use those black clips to hold instructions for blocks.
