Please remember that "cheap" also translates into "thrifty." You have more pennies, nickels, and dimes for buying fabric!!

I love your room. It looks so cozy and private, just a great space to be creative.

Look around your house with different eyes, is there a corner somewhere you could clear out? The use of rooms isn't set in stone, just in our head. I took half of our dining room, didn't ask, just did it. We were only using about half the room the rest was just junk we didn't really use or need. Everything doesn't have to be in the same room, just convenient. We didn't have a living room in our last house, I took it for my sewing. The kids all used the bonus room in the basement, they never came into the living room except to go out the front door. Why have rooms or half empty rooms that could be used just not in the conventional way. I am in love with quiltingwifechick's setup.

A nice and cozy space! Your nice $$ finds just leaves more to buy fabrics, tools and such!

Thank you everyone! I wanted to share because I love looking at pictures of everyone else's sewing spaces. My husband finished the room (ceiling, walls & flooring) for me years ago & I do love it. I lose track of time here & enjoy this spaces so much. Someday I will have to do something with the cutting table because when I do a lot of cutting, my back does hurt, but it is ok for now. The cupboard is crammed full of fabric & I am not allowing myself to buy more until I have several new quilt tops done. Working on quilting two now & have another to start quilting & a project ready to begin on my table.
