Great seweing room, and you have the only sewing machine still on my want list, the white FW. My mother had one and I stupidly let h er give it away, she even asked me and had I known what I know now I never would have said yes. Sewed so nice too.

Your sewing room looks very inviting. I love your little "white" featherweight. Thank you for sharing. I love the fan in your room.

Very nice! I'd love to see a close-up picture of the hanky quilt....maybe you could post it in "pictures"....altogether lovely. I'm a pianist so I especially appreciate the musical mixed with the sewing. Blessings...

Gorgeous, wish I had a bigger room but thankful for what I have , which I share with my husband's computer .He is learning to make the patterns for my embroidery,so can't complain too much. Grandsons just put in track lighting for us.
Husband is waiting for his appointment to have eye surgery.

I love your sewing machine. I do not use my ceiling fan as it blows everything around. Your room is just beautiful.

Love the space and handkerchief quilt. My mom is getting up there in years and I thought about doing that with hers some day.

Yes...got a pre finished piece of plywood at our Mennards...same as Home Depot?? put some batting on the top and stapled to the back side and used a well used sheet to cover and fold it to the back..takes two people to do this in my case, and my son used a heavy duty stapler to staple it down on the back. It just sits on top of a small portable table and I put my cutting mat on top of it when I'm cutting out a quilt. Very portable and it can all be moved to storage if we have company and I have to put up a blow-up bed in that room for a third bedroom. Good set up for me. Thanks for your comments. Probably should have used insulbrite (?) batting to do this but I didn't and I'm okay with it as is. Probably wouldn't have had to use a pre finished piece of plywood either, but they were already cut in smaller sizes and easy to get home.
