I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and you'd be surprised what fits, especially with the back seats down.

How deep are the drawers in the taller cabinet? I think that's an awesome way to store thread, but most of mine are 5" in height and don't fit upright in most drawers. I do have the shorter cabinet and may get another. It fits under the longarm table nicely and stores so many things that need to stay flat.

Thanks for sharing this tip. I will be doing this in the very near future

I live in Oregon and have been looking on line at Ikea. What do you call the unit you purchased that you put your thread into? Thanks. Susan

Here are my Alex cabinets. I picked up some inserts from Menards (for tool chests) and had DH cut a bit off so they'd fit in the narrow cabinet.

and my thread for my first LA that my current LA hates - and my Juki is not a fan of it either.

Here is having the rolling cart set up for an ironing station next to the machine. The cordless iron works great in this setup.

I bought the plug in strip so I don't have to crawl under the table to plug things in.

The table is also IKEA - it is adjustable height so I can change it depending on what machine I'm using. Though I've only had it a few weeks so have not used any other machine on it yet.
