Work in Progress - My new sewing space

Husband and I moved into our new home in Sept. Daughter and Son in Law are providing the labor to finish the basement, which will contain a store room, an exercise room for Hubby, and two sewing rooms for ME. I am so very excited!!! The work is nearing completion.....and we hope to have all done before the New Year.

How awesome to have a basement to put two sewing spaces. We live in Texas and no basements.

You may never leave the basement. Well, I guess you would have to occasionally go out for fabric.

I miss my basement we can't have them here in Fl. and the attic isn't big enough for a large ant. It looks wonderful and I would be so excited to have it finished can't wait to see the finished rooms. Sue

what a wonderful place for you to play in. I am hoping to get my space set up this summer, if not in my addition at least upstairs so I can leave everything where it is and come back to it without putting it away.

Wow, that is going to be an awesome space! I'd never have known it was in the basement - so light and spacious. Looking forward to seeing the progress continue.

It looks like your going to have good lighting in your rooms. I have had to move my sewing room down in the basement and the lighting is terrible. It has been really hard to find a place for everything. I have the room but I also have a lot of stuff and need to make the most of my space. I'm terrible about making decisions!
