Because it is such a small space (10"x 9"approx) it has to stay tidy otherwise it becomes a pit....but good storage made all the difference.....Good old Ikea.
Before I stored all my fabric in large storage boxes which was fine but if I wanted some fabrics five boxes down it was a major lifting exercise....using the folding method suggested by the board has transformed how I do a project...I can look through my stash easily and quickly .....does that mean I don't buy so much....Heck no...quilters have a fabric addiction.....just have to have that fat quater!

Great sewing room. I would have left the bed out and made room for a cutting table.
Thats what they make Motels for. LOL
