I am so excited! Taking classes and have a hotel room next to the convention center. I CAN NOT WAIT! Last year I had just had my son four weeks before the show so I was only able to go for about half a day before I got worn out. Not this year!

A friend and I are coming from the middle of BC. I have to check my papers as to when we arrive. we are there for almost a week. I have been to the spring quilt market as a shop owner and that was overwhelming. This will be even more so. 50,000 people over the festival is 'huge'. 11 football fields. I just watched 'Stitched' this evening and it does give one a bit of a feel for the whole experience.

It will be my first time to Houston too. I watched "Stitched" yesterday. It does show a lot about it.

Well, I looked for it too, and couldn't find anything about it. Then I read that they didn't do it last year- so maybe they discontinued it. Sorry- It was a great way to get there and back.

LOL thats what I was thinking to, so much better than driving, parking and walking, especially at the END of the day
