Another PNW Get Together March 14
I've been making noises about setting up another meeting for members sometime in February or March for a while now. I stopped by the Tumwater branch of Timberland Regional Library yesterday on my way home from my Dr appointment and booked a meeting room. Most weekend dates were already booked through March but I was able to get a good slot for March 14th. I decided on the Tumwater library because it has easy access and much better parking than the Centralia library where we had our first meeting.
This should give everyone the address:

Here's the map:

The date is Saturday, March 14 from 12:30PM to 4PM.
Here's the address again if the link isn't working for you.
Timberland Regional Library, Tumwater Branch
7023 New Market Street
Tumwater, WA 98501-6563
Our first meeting was very informal, if anyone has any ideas for demonstrations or discussions either on machines or quilting etc please feel free to say something. Also let me know if there's some detail I've missed about the time or address.
I've also posted this in the vintage machines section where I spend most of my time. The event is open to everyone, not just those with vintage machines.
I have space in my car for 1 more person if anyone from the south wants to carpool from Centralia.
I hope to see you all there.
Rodney

Just thought I'd bring this back up. The get together is 2 weeks from today. Roserips and I are bringing in a couple of her hand crank machines and we will also put together some precut wallet kits for people to have something they can sew together on them. I'm not sure yet because I need to check and see exactly what it needs but I may also bring a machine in for a re-wire demo.
I hope to see you all there.

I am so sorry to have missed it, but with DH knee surgery last month, he just wasn't up to the drive. I will be there for the next one. i was really looking forward to it, but as the old saying goes "man plans, and God laughs. Lol!
