I live not far from Bluffton. Only 3 miles from Southern Wells HS. But I am not a native of the area.

Hi,

Thank you all for the nice welcome. I am Karen, age 52 and live in Fairmount, Indiana (Grant County). I went to my first guild meeting last week and met some new friends there and going to join the guild next month. Also some of the ladies from that guild meets the 3rd Thursday of each month and has a pitch in and sew day. This will be fun for next week as I am looking forward to it.

I am trying to find other crafters in Indiana so we can have fun going to quilt shows etc. together and meet up.

I need to go for now storming here and need to get off computers, chat later on bye for now.

Come on Indiana Hoosiers friends come to this board and let us know what crafts you make, where the quilt shows are at in Indiana so all of us can enjoy in the fun.

I don't live too far from you. About 6 miles from montpelier out in the country. You almost have to go by my house to get to Berne. I usually try to get there if I can.

Dern, my DH is going to Indianapolis tomorrow for a few weeks on Business. I usually take this business trip with him but I have been sick and not up to going. I am originally from Sharpsville Indiana, lived there until I was 12 then folks moved to South Carolina.

I didnt realize how many Indiana Quilters there were on here. WOW.

Hi Karen,

I am from Elwood...not far from Fairmount at all. I am also 52. I am not part of a guild....not a great deal of extra time. I teach kdg and my husband and I have 3 children. Our son is 26 and on his own, and our daughters are 21 and 19...both college students. I am trying to finish several of my projects...but, I keep starting new things!
