I'm still here, we leave Friday after the Long Beach International Quilt Show. Thanks everyone. We are going camping so I hope we pass thru Boise so I can shop a little.

Small world, ha? I took the class in September/October of 2007. I didn't own a sewing machine then (I only bought one last year) or knew anything about quilting other than it yields gorgeous quilts. Nancy was awesome in taking her time to over-explain things to me and showing me how to thread needles, use a seam-ripper and other basic things that other ladies in the class knew. I enjoyed her classes. I remember I even missed one of the classes for a reason or another and she met me one afternoon and went over what I missed because she knew I wouldn't be able to figure it out on my own.

On your way to Rupert, you go through Burley Idaho, the home of Alice Walters who designed and sells the Wonder Cut Ruler...BUT...there is also a Mill Ends Quilt shop on the Main Street...floor to ceiling with fabric, and I think it even has every single 30's fabric ever made. All top quality fabric that I could tell. It was wonderful. Joanie

Sounds like you are arriving from Utah to Idaho?
There is a nice shop in Baker City but that is further along I-84.
Too bad!
